Dr. Zuhal Elnour is a post-doctoral researcher in the International Agricultural Trade and Development research group at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin. Mrs. Elnour is a senior researcher in the DFG Programme on Climate Change and Health in Sub-Saharan Africa (https://gepris.dfg.de/gepris/projekt/409670289?language=en). In this project, she investigates the economy-wide effects of climate change induced human health impacts and adaptation strategies in Burkina Faso and Kenya. Mrs. Elnour obtained her PhD in agricultural economics from Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Harald Grethe. Her thesis investigated the role of vocational education and training systems for agricultural development employing computable general equilibrium models.
