Research topic

Development of a General Equilibrium Model for Germany

The aim of the research project is to develop a General Equilibrium Model for Germany with a detailed representation of the agricultural sector. A special focus will be put on the integration of ecological relationships to simulate the impact of policy decisions on biodiversity in general as well as on associated ecosystem services. In addition, the model will be able to represent both organic and conventional agriculture separately. A detailed representation of trading partners will allow to simulate the impact of national environmental policies on agricultural trade.
