Stakeholder integration in the agri-food systems transformation

The PhD project researches how stakeholders and integrative methods contribute to scenario development and ultimately to the transformation of the agri-food system in Germany. In addition to a literature review on methods, the project aims to co-create transformation scenarios towards a biodiversity-friendly agri-food system together with stakeholders. Experiences and perspectives of stakeholders are considered at the national and local level and development options will be formulated together. Another focus topic of the PhD is research on non-governmental instruments and initiatives for a biodiversity-friendly agri-food system. This includes a typologisation as well as an examination of the ecological, economic and social potential.
