Short profile

Lea Streit is a research assistant at the Institute for Landscape and Environment at the Nürtingen-Geislingen University and a PhD student at the University of Hohenheim. She has a Master's degree in Sustainable Agriculture and Food Management and a Bachelor's degree in Landscape Planning and Nature Conservation. Her research focuses on livestock protection measures on the one hand and climate protection measures, especially in peatlands, on the other. In her dissertation project she is researching ecological and socio-economic aspects of market-based incentive schemes for voluntary biodiversity enhancing compensation services in agriculture.
