Review: Participation of the Research Group at the EAAE 2025 Conference [06.10.25]
From August 26 to 29, researchers from the Working Group on Economic-Ecological Policy Modeling (420d) presented their latest research findings at this year’s conference of the European Association of Agricultural Economists (EAAE), held in Bonn.

18. EAAE Congress 2025, Bonn
The group’s contributions – four presentations and one poster – reflected the broad range of interdisciplinary research conducted at the intersection of economics and ecology.
The following presentations were given:
- Esther Amankwah: Towards Conserving Species-rich Hay Meadows: What Explains Farmer Participation in Agri-Environment-Climatic Measures?
- Saskia Anja Osterkamp: Ecological and Economic Impacts of a Large-Scale Organic Conversion Policy: A Regional Case Study
- Falk Krumbe: Organic and Conventional Markets in Germany: A Detailed Whole Economy Policy Analysis
- Hannah Bücheler: Co-creating Scenarios for a Biodiversity-friendly Agri-food System: A Case Study from Germany (poster presentation)
- Arndt Feuerbacher: The Economic and Food Security Risks of Gradual Pollinator Decline
The conference offered an excellent opportunity for networking and professional exchange with colleagues from across Europe and around the world. We are already looking forward to the next EAAE conference in 2027 in Croatia.
