Falk Krumbe presented a study on the economic assessment of the role of pollinators in seed production at the 28th EAERE (European Association of Environmental and Resource Economists) conference in Limassol, Cyprus. The study shows that animal-mediated pollination makes an important economic contribution to seed production that previous studies have ignored. Pollinators play a particularly important role in the cultivation of vegetables and legumes. Preliminary results of these studies can be made available if required.
